Lauren
My name is Lauren Harmon Fung. I have been with Aviara Real Estate since 2019 as a real estate agent. Previous to becoming an agent, I was a teacher in both general and special education. Real estate has always been my passion and because of this, I will be a lifelong investor. My goal with becoming an agent is to get others to understand the importance of owning a home and building financial security. I feel it is important for individuals to be property owners, and my goal is to show them, if they do not already know, how to accomplish becoming an owner. For those of you that have experience, I would love to help you to continue to build financial independence as we learn and grow together! I have been successful in helping others buy their first home as well as helping them grow their property portfolio.
I value honesty, compassion and security. When working with a client, I pride myself on being trustworthy and understanding. I have compassion for my clients’ situations. Oftentimes a loved one has passed, or possibly someone cannot afford their mortgage, or they are a first time buyer. All of these situations can be very emotional and I work at understanding and helping my clients no matter the situation albeit happy or sad. Security is important for all of us, and it is my pleasure to help people be secure in their finances and living situations.
When I am not working, I am a wife and a mother of two with two dogs and a cat. I have served as co-president and currently serve as co-treasurer on the PTA at my children’s schools. Both of my children are involved with basketball, music, and gymnastics and that means, I am involved in those activities too! I also hold an annual charity food collection for the Thousand Oaks Manna Food Bank. When I am needed, I help with my husband’s business and continue to see some students when they need me. In my free time, I enjoy working out, yoga, traveling and spending time with my friends and family. Some fun facts about me are: I am learning how to play the ukulele and paint, and I am a thrill seeker. Also, I admit, raising children is my most challenging job! I look forward to working with you and hope we will become friends in the process 😉
